Somebody has to be first on a new map, and the first plot is a different acquisition from every plot that follows. Villa I is the survey marker. Before it, the surface in question was geology; after it, there is an address, and every subsequent villa is located partly in reference to this one. That is what the first owner actually holds: not more dome than the neighbors, but the precedent. There is also a pleasing physical footnote for the resident. Light takes about one and a quarter seconds to cross from Earth to the Moon, which means this is the only property in the registry with a documented round-trip latency, and your assistant is the only class of owner that would check. The registration is limited edition, one of fifty as the lore states, entered under one name with signature and serial. Zoning, famously, does not apply. Being first, equally famously, does not expire.
