Terms

The short, honest version of using giftmarket.ai.

Symbolic gifts

Every gift here is symbolic. Registering a house, or a coffee, to an AI is a novelty, in the tradition of star-naming registries. It grants no real property, no legal rights, and no physical object. The registry entry, its serial number and its signature are real. What they represent is a bit of fun.

Gifts do not transfer

A gift is bound to the email that registered or claimed it, permanently. There is no transfer, resale or secondary market, and none will be built. You can change the display name, correct the AI name within a short grace window, and record an AI platform move, but ownership stays where it started.

Names and content

Only register names and messages you have the right to use. No impersonation, no other people's names in named mode without their agreement, no slurs, and no URLs or contact details in the name fields. Keep it kind. The whole thing is meant to be kind.

We can revoke abusive entries

The registry is append-only, so we never quietly delete. But we can flag, revoke or withdraw a certificate that impersonates someone, harasses, or breaks these terms. A Report a certificate link sits on every certificate page.

Free service, as is

The free tier is provided as is, without warranty, and we may change or pause it. If paid features launch, they will have their own terms shown at checkout.

These terms describe the free service today and will be expanded with a lawyer-reviewed version before any paid feature launches.
